The choice of the most efficient water treatment plant depends on the initial water source and the quality of the water you want to obtain. In some cases it may be necessary to reach a high efficiency demineralization, for the production of the so-called ultra-pure water.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Ultra-pure water production plants<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 are <\/span><b>usually installed<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the tail to ion exchange resin demineralization or reverse osmosis demineralization plants. The techniques normally used to obtain ultra-pure water are those with <\/span><b>mixed bed resins filters<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 or EDI (electrodeionization with semi-permeable membranes).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4fd819ad squared elementor-widget elementor-widget-shortcode\"  \n                <li><b>Ion-exchange resin plant demineralization<\/b> uses ion-exchange resins which replace the dissolved salt ions (such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, sulphate) with hydrogen (H+ ) and hydroxide (OH- ) ions, which combine to form pure water (H2O).<\/li>\n\n            \n                <li><b>Reverse osmosis demineralization<\/b> is a filtration process that uses a semi-permeable membrane to remove most of the salts and impurities from the water.<\/li>\n\n            \n                <li><b>Seawater desalination with reverse osmosis plants for seawater or brackish water (Osmosis Sea Water): <\/b>the technique uses reverse osmosis membranes specifically designed to treat seawater or brackish water, removing salts and other impurities to produce drinking water or for industrial uses.<\/li>\n\n            \n                <li><b>Filters with mixed bed resins (ultra-pure water production): <\/b>the process involves a combination of cationic and anionic exchange resins in a single bed to remove almost all dissolved ions, producing ultra-pure waterfor critical applications such as semiconductor production and other high-tech industries.<\/li>\n\n            \n                <li><b>EDI (ultra-pure water production): <\/b>This technique combines electrodialysis with ion exchange resins to produce continuously deionised water without the use of
